About Laura

Laura and her rescue dog, Violet.

Laura is a Birmingham-based artist, whose work is characterised by intricate detail, bold lines and expressive mark-making.

Music is central to Laura’s creative process, shaping both her approach and style. Inspired by the icons, album artwork and visual culture of the late ’70s and early ’80s, these influences can be seen in her colour palettes and compositions.

A graduate of the University for the Creative Arts in 2009, Laura has created artwork for a range of clients and brands. She has also exhibited with Castle Galleries nationwide and has worked as a live illustrator at events at Selfridges and Birmingham Pride.

Outside the studio, Laura is a lifelong dog lover and advocate for rescue and adoption. She believes every home deserves a rescue dog and every portrait deserves a great soundtrack.
